Prototype. nextUp is not built yet. Everything here uses sample data. Keep this internal until each claim is live.

For dealer websites

Every inventory page points to the research that helps sell it

nextUp adds a short block of research articles to the bottom of your SRPs and VDPs. A Tacoma page links to the Tacoma guide. Your inventory pages get relevant internal links, and shoppers get answers.

  • Platform agnostic, so it suits agencies and dealer groups
  • Matches on the vehicle on the page, down to make and model
  • Tags and descriptions drafted automatically, then checked by a person
  • Shows which in-stock models still need an article
  • Real links on your own domain, with no visitor tracking

How it works

  1. Articles go in

Research articles live on your site through the CMS. Each URL and its tags are inserted into your catalog, by API, spreadsheet or hand.

  2. We read and tag them

Each page is read and given suggested make, model and topic tags, using the words from your own inventory, plus a short description.

  3. You check once

Confirm the tags with one click. A wrong model tag is the one thing you never want on a live page.

  4. Links appear

Each SRP and VDP gets a stable set of links. They change when your articles change, so what search engines see stays consistent.

What makes the match better

A VDP knows exactly which vehicle it is showing. nextUp uses that first and treats similarity as a tie-breaker, so the nearest article wins over the most popular one.

A clear order of preference

1Exact model and year range
2Same make and model
3Same make and body style
4Same body style, condition or make

Your content gaps, listed

nextUp compares your inventory with your articles. If you have 14 Outbacks in stock and no Outback article, it tells you, so the next piece you write is the one you need.

Careful with vehicle facts

Generated text never mentions price, payments, APR, incentives or availability. Articles with offer language keep the author's own words.

Sponsored links with weighted levels

Sell a sponsor a level, not a guarantee of every page. A higher level wins the slot more often, but only where it fits. Try it: move the sliders and watch the share of the sponsor slot change.

Your sponsors, your money

You sell the placement directly and bill your own client. nextUp is licensed software, with no ad network in the middle.

Always labelled

Each paid card carries an "Ad" label before the click, and rel="sponsored" on the link. It never takes the first slot, and at most one in four.

Budgets that hold

Set a start date, an end date and a daily limit. Delivery spreads through the day, and reports show views and clicks for your sponsor.

Add any URL

Add a useful page from anywhere: a manufacturer guide, a local partner, a community resource. Each new domain gets checked and approved first, and dead links pull themselves.

    Works across website platforms

nextUp doesn't depend on who built your website. Articles, tags, matching and reports work the same everywhere, so one product can cover every store you run.

    For dealer groups

Stores on different platforms still use the same catalog workflow and dashboard. There's no separate tool or process for each website vendor.

    For agencies

Offer it to every client, whatever their site runs on. Your team learns one product and uses one review process.

    When a store changes platform

Articles, tags and approvals belong to the store, not the website vendor. They carry over when a store moves to a new platform.

    Getting set up

    If you use nexusDealer

We switch it on for your domain. Nothing new is added to your site's code, and staff can preview it on your live pages first.

    Everyone else, with a tag

Paste one tag into Google Tag Manager and tell it where the links go on your pages.

    <script src="https://nextup.vinficient.com/embed.js"
            data-site="dealer.example.com"
            data-container=".your-results-section"
            data-position="after" async></script>

Some website platforms can't accept injected content. We check yours before you start.

General description of each category. Individual products vary.

    Promises we build in

    No reader tracking

No cookies, no device IDs and no profile of a visitor. We match on the page, and reports use daily totals.

    Your page comes first

Space is reserved so nothing jumps. If nextUp fails, the block stays empty and your page carries on.

    Paid is always clear

Every paid link is labelled before the click and marked for search engines.

    A person can overrule it

Pins and exclusions always win, and every automatic tag can be corrected.

    Real links, no redirects

Links go straight to the page, and internal links stay plain.

    Honest results

We report what we can measure. We don't promise rankings.

    Pricing

    To be set

Pricing isn't decided yet, and this section is a placeholder. The plan's recommendation is a licence per site, per year.

    Questions

    Will this improve our rankings?

It adds relevant internal links, which is good practice, but we can't promise ranking changes. We show you what Google reports for your articles so you can judge.

Where do the articles have to live?

On your own domain. Links to another site aren't internal links, so the catalog warns you when an article is hosted elsewhere.

How many articles do we need?

At least enough to tell your main models apart. With only a few, every page shows the same links. Your coverage report shows where to add more.

What happens when a vehicle sells?

Nothing breaks. The links belong to the page, and when the page goes away, so do they.
